Here's a great
building site, just 2km from the main jetty!

Russell Is is the largest of the Southern
Moreton Bay Islands. Just a 20 minute ferry ride from Redland Bay, the
island has become a magnet for those looking for a relaxed island lifestyle, yet
still within commuting distance to Brisbane
and the Gold Coast.
The island
retains its undeveloped charm, with many metalled roads and extensive bush.
Houses dot the island, but you can be as close or as far away from others as you
want to be.
Recent
enhancements include a new shopping centre with a supermarket and a range of
speciality shops, new police station, and new swimming pool facilities. The
island also has a bowls club, RSL and community centre.
Contact with
the mainland at Redland Bay is via
passenger ferry (takes 20-30 minutes depending on the route) or by vehicular
barge (a one-hour trip). Services are very frequent, with the ferry running up
to 40 times a day during the week, and the barge up to 14 times a day. These
vessels do a circuit of Macleay, Lamb, Karragarra and Russell Islands
through the picturesque waters of the southern Moreton Bay area.

No this is not a typo! This 569 sq m block has been surveyed, and
has all corner pegs in place. It has been regularly slashed, and has a slight slope from the
front left to the back right. There are two lovely shade trees, one at the front and one at the
back of the block.
The block is on a good gravel road, approx 100m to the sealed road.
Power and water services are in the street, with a fire hydrant at the front of the property.
The block is an ideal building site, with glimpses of the hills of
North Stradbroke Island through the trees at the back of the block. An elevated home could have
more extensive views.
In 2007 this block had an approved Material Change of Use (MCU) including soil test and Property
Assessment for a 3 bedroom home but the approval lapses after 4 years.
However the preliminary plans are available to the purchaser. An
illustration of the dwelling design which had been approved can be seen here.
This site is just 2km to the primary school, shops and other
services, and is perfect for your new home!
Please call Janet Houlihan on 0417 841 667 for further
information.
